How are our holiday workshops different from other school holiday programmes?
Our popular holiday workshops provide a teaching/coaching environment where young people are encouraged to recognise and develop their talents and potential.
At Ignite we have years of experience in delivering top quality, fun, performing arts classes within a new purpose-built arts environment; including music studios and dance studios. Our instructors are highly skilled, with many years of experience in; percussion, guitar, vocal, dance, keyboards, visual art, drama, costume creation, set design and more. Their personal abilities are matched by their passion to ignite pupils with a desire to learn, to identify areas of talent and grow in confidence.
Who can attend
We cater for a range of abilities and ages, generally from five to 15 years, whether early beginners or for those already with some level of expertise.

DESCRIPTION:
Come be our guest at our April holiday workshops where your children can enjoy four full days exploring the enchanting story of Beauty & the Beast.
Venturing into the spooky wood and exploring the Palace of Dreams, they’ll learn songs, rehearse dances and put together scenes that tell the story of how Belle met the Beast and what happened next. Can we help break the spell which turned the prince into a beast?
Our warm and friendly team of theatre professionals will inspire and encourage them as they combine drama, dance and singing into a magical production. They'll guide the children every step of the way and encourage them to project their voices, learn energetic dance routines, sing catchy songs and create their props and set design.
On the final day of the workshops, you will wow your family and friends with an exciting Beauty & the Beast themed showcase performance.
Camp Rock Junior

WHAT TO BRING : Drink (water) bottle, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, any medications as required.
DESCRIPTION: The perfect way for younger students to start their musical journey. The popular Camp Rock Junior program gives them a chance to try a range of cool, contemporary instruments.
Working in small groups with our experienced coaches, children rotate each day through workshops on guitar/ukulele, bass, drums, vocals, and piano/keyboard. It's a great way to discover an instrument they love.
The final day is a fun-filled creative song-writing session with students' and coaches working together to write their own songs and even design their own album cover!

Camp Rock - Senior
Are you a budding musician that dreams to be in your own rock band?
DATES : This workshop runs for 3 days | 22 - 24 April
TIMES : 9am - 4pm
AGES : 9 - 15 YRS

EXPERIENCE LEVEL : At least one years experience (or a short audition entry for those with less than 1 year)
BOOKINGS : Essential
WHAT TO BRING : Drink (water) bottle, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, any medications as required.
DESCRIPTION: Our Rock Shows are for kids who are ready to rock! Most will have been playing for at least a year, a short audition is required for first-timers.
Working with inspiring professional musicians, students prepare a setlist for an awesome stage performance (which may be live-streamed or recorded).
The focus is on having fun while developing musicianship and stagecraft, with creative songwriting also woven in.
On the final day of the programme, each band will record their original song and put on an exciting showcase performance for family and friends!
